"sunshine" — Julian

economics student, volleyball player
she has two horns on her forehead, and a 'demon' like tail, both of which can be set on fire to exude a nice scent.

Her name is Sunny, but her personality is not. She's bitter and petty, and 100% done with everything at all times. A judgy and asocial overachiever, who's unable to function without caffeine in her system. Sunny is grumpy, sarcastic and aloof; she sighs, frowns, rolls her eyes, and complains a lot. She's generally tired and lethargic, except for when she’s on the volleyball court. Her horns and tail-tip can be set on fire, and they smell like a day by the ocean — like a scented candle.
coffee, volleyball, the ocean, hot summer days, cigarettes, lipgloss
mornings, people, morning people, rich white men, having to play nice, being called "sunshine"
The Devil Wears Prada
coffee and Capri Sun
Fueled by bitterness and coffee.
Permanently 30 min late with Starbucks.
The physical embodiment of suffering.
She's inclined to lean on things —and her friends— a lot. Especially Julian; he's a sturdy thing to support one self on.
She has a pink floral tattoo on her left thigh.
Sunny's parents are refined, succesful, and a bit uptight, and they have raised an emotionally constipated overachiever of a daughter. They're pretty strict, and expect Sunny to perform well above average in everything she does, and maintain a polished image around them and any guests. She's not allowed to swear, sigh, or slouch when she's around them, but as long as she keeps up appearances and performs well in school, they don't mind as much what she decides to do in her free-time.
She feels an obligation to live up to their standards, both because she doesn’t want to let them down, and also because she’s competitive and doesn’t want to let herself down either. She wants to make them proud, and she doesn’t want to disappoint them or embarrass them, which is amplified by her knowing the kind of fancy crowd her parents hang with.
Basically, her parents expect her to be great, because she always is, but Sunny takes it to an other level and expects herself to be the best and to never fail ever. In the end she’s a lot harder on herself than her parents are, and they don’t really realize that, or just how hard she’s pushing herself.
Sometimes she forgets to turn off her model student/perfect daughter mode and Julian will say something like "relax Sunny, this is a safe place" and she'll tell him to fuck off, but relax her posture.
